June 5, 2009 at 3:10 pm | Posted in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 | Leave a comment

We often get how-to requests on how to change the sql report services that an organization uses. This can be done out of the box quite easily and without the need to re-import the organization.

Here’s how:

1.Open crm deployment manager. You must be a ‘crm deployment administrator’.

2.  Click in organizations, right click and disable the organization.

3. Right click and ‘edit organization’.

4. Change the SRS Data Connector URL to then new server.

5.  Click Next

6.   Wait for the org to be updated – will take 2-3 mins.

7.  When it finished, right click on organization and ‘enable’.

That’s it. All reports will now have been published to the new srs server.

Cheers !!!!!
